2011 College Basketball Post-Season Tourney Overview (Div. 1)

The period known as "March Madness" is finally starting and it is a time where all of the college enthusiasts and general fans unite for an event that pits college basketball teams in an race for an championship. Before the tournaments start, I would like to open discussions that many experts and analysts are gathering information and crunching numbers to predict who will come out on top in each matchup. Instead of during each tournament (NCAA, NIT, CBI, CollegeInsider), individually, I will start with the games that end today and so on until tomorrow where I give my predictions on the tournament each as a whole. By adding the field of teams eligible for the NCAA tournament from 65 teams to 68, the "play-in" games went from 1 to 4. That means that eight teams with essentially be playing for four spots in the tournament. The first round slated for the NCAA pits two 16 seeds against each other followed by two 12 seeds playing each other. Lets look at the first game:
